The Welsh Government has developed a draft National Framework for the Delivery of Bereavement Care in Wales (see web link below) and is seeking views on how we can respond to those who are facing or have experienced, a bereavement.

This framework seeks to support commissioners and providers to understand their responsibilities to ensure the provision of equitable and timely access to high quality bereavement care and support to the local population. The framework includes:
- National bereavement standards;
- Examples of existing models of bereavement support;
- Learning from Covid-19.
The public consultation on the draft National Framework for the Delivery of Bereavement Care in Wales will run for eight weeks from 22nd March and end on 17 May 2021.
