Location:      Local Barod Office – to be confirmed on appointment.

Type:             Full time

Hours:          37 hours per week, including some weekend/evening work during busy periods, eg. events.        

Salary:          £46,750 – £52,520 per annum

Start:            TBC

Duration:      Permanent, in line with funding.

We seek to improve individual’s, communities and society’s understanding and awareness of the relationship between drug / alcohol use, misuse, vulnerability and exclusion, in order to overcome barriers which perpetuate the cycle

The Role

The Director of Operations will provide support to the organisation and staff alike in the delivery of service contracts for all projects. They will ensure that Barod deliver quality services and evidence-based interventions for the people who use our services. The successful candidate will lead on developing new services and innovative initiatives whilst ensuring the standards of service across the organisation are

The Director of Operations will act as an Ambassador of the Organisation and represent the service to the wider community, including Local Health Boards, Welsh Government, and other Third Sector organisations and various other groups. This will include taking membership of any Area Planning Board and other strategic groups as appropriate.

They will be an experienced and competent Leader and Manager, with the ability to lead and inspire with compassion.
