Housing Support Worker with Adferiad Revovery
Hours: 30 hours (plus additional when available)
Salary: £10.25 per hour (only one of these enhancements is paid per any hour)
Sleep-ins £60.00 per night plus additional payments for unsocial hours: between 22:00 and 08:00; weekends (48 hours); Bank Holidays
Holidays: 25 days per year plus 8 public holidays (pro rata)
Based at: Llanelli, Carmarthenshire

Job Purpose:
Under the direction of the Service Manager, work as part of team or lone working to support and improve the lives of people with serious mental illness. By contributing to the delivery of Adferiad’s Registered Services in Carmarthenshire, in line with our commitment to principles of empowerment, self-management and recovery and ensuring compliance with internal and external quality standards inspection and regulation (including CIW).
About this job:
Llanelli Support Accommodation project staff support individuals with a serious mental illness. The service is delivered either in a shared accommodation, supported housing setting in Llanelli or in people’s own homes in the locality. The aim of the staff team therefore, will be to encourage and enable clients to reach a greater level of independence and be able to move-on into more independent living in the community.
The housing service is staffed 7 days a week and staff work to a shift pattern which includes unsocial hours and sleep-ins.
