Fixed term to 31st March 2024 (with potential 12 month extension)

37 hours per week

£27,852 per annum

Based in Carmarthen

Main purpose of the role

To ensure that the Third Sector is integral to the delivery and strategic planning of both Social Care and Hywel Dda University Health Board’s strategic aim to build community resilience and develop preventative services to reduce the need for statutory interventions.

To support the delivery of duties and obligations under the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014 (“the Act”) by:

  • Strengthening information and advice offerings.
  • Building community capacity and resilience.
  • Supporting prevention and self-help.
  • Maximising people’s independence by ensuring access to a range of preventative, community services and solutions.
