
Carmarthenshire has been allocated additional funding for an extension to UKSPF for the period 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026.
The aim of the Sustainable Communities Fund is to provide the necessary support to help strengthen the social fabric of communities, building pride in place whilst also delivering direct and/or indirect economic benefit.
The project will provide financial support through the delivery of a £1.7m grant scheme which will support capital and revenue investments. The grant threshold is between £10,000 and £150,000. The maximum available for Revenue projects is £75,000; the maximum available for Capital projects is £150,000. If you have a mixture of capital and revenue expenditure, the maximum grant available is £150,000.
The grant will focus on the following themes which have been identified as a priority within the County’s Strategic Investment Plan

- Circular Economy
- Wellbeing / Leisure
- Access to Services
- Environment and Green
- Tourism, Culture / Heritage
- Community Engagement
