Opportunities to Volunteer

The experience of volunteering locally is an opportunity to build confidence and develop skills that will be useful to you in different areas in the future, as well as in the world of work. The Menter’s volunteering opportunities involve gaining experience in taking responsibility and making decisions, contributing to the community, and helping you develop your Welsh language skills.

We will reward our volunteers with Tempo Time Credits, and you will be able to register for the scheme in advance. Then, after volunteering, you can exchange your credits for tickets or entry to various venues, e.g. Xcel Bowl, Hanger 5, Scarlets, Pembrey Country Park, and many more.

The good news is that we are busy arranging a variety of opportunities for you to volunteer, including, Gŵyl Fach Newy, Ras Bryndioddef (Castell Newydd Emlyn) a Gŵyl Canol Dre (Caerfyrddin)

  • midday – 12pm – 3pm
  • afternoon – 2:30pm – 5:30pm

We will be organising a range of activities, and you are welcome to indicate if you have an interest in a particular area/areas, e.g. dance, art, music, sports, etc., so that you can be placed somewhere you will enjoy.

Thank you for your time, and I look forward to hearing from you.
