We have an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated team of independent advocates:
Independent Advocate – Pembrokeshire Community Mental Health Advocacy Service
1 x 37 hour per week advocate post, or 2 x 3 days (22.5 hours per week), working with people of all ages in Pembrokeshire seeking advocacy to support them in accessing mental health services and other related services. Will include dedicated 1:1 working and drop-in advocacy sessions through the area. Hybrid working home/office/with the person in a variety of venues. Full training provided. Established long term funding.
Pay: starting at £26,904 (unqualified advocate), starting at £29,423 (advocate qualified with the Level 4 Independent Advocacy Qualification or equivalent legacy qualification).

If you:
Have excellent communication, telephone, organisational and IT skills,
Demonstrate an empathic and non-judgmental approach to working with the people you support.
Are either a bilingual Welsh and English speaker, or willing to develop your Welsh language skills.
Have a strong commitment to and understanding of issues of social justice, human rights, equality and inclusion,
Enjoy working as part of a team and engaging with a wide range of people, both professionals and clients of the service,
Are committed to undertaking the Level 4 Independent Advocacy Qualification.
