Supporting is second nature

Partnerships are at the heart of our network as we strive to support one another to meet our pledges to Bwyd Sir Gâr Food and our county. Encouraging active food citizenship, contributions for the development of a Carmarthenshire Food Charter as well as being community aware and engaging, enables us to support where is needed.

Bwyd Sir Gâr Food is about:

• Empowering communities to get involved
• Working collaboratively with communities to help shape and create a more sustainable and prosperous food system for Carmarthenshire
• Reaching out to communities across Carmarthenshire and engaging with them in relevant, appropriate and culturally sensitive ways to be inclusive
• Being accessible by ensuring we reach people of all ages and backgrounds across Carmarthenshire and actively encourage widespread participation in our activities.
• We are innovative forward thinkers and approach projects and project delivery in an innovative and fresh way.

Whether you are looking for likeminded groups to apply for funding, or members of your cluster group to suggest a group project, we have some details below.
