We have operated Maerdy Food Hwb (community fridge), also providing balanced food boxes. In addition, there is a long-standing café.>/br>


Cariad Pet Foodbank

Cariad Pet Food Bank is a community project set up and run by Cariad Pet Therapy.


Carmarthen Foodbank

We provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. We work with the Trussell Trust.


Carmarthen Salvation Army 

We are a Christian church and run a charity shop, coffee shop and drop-in Centre. Due to covid-19 we are running a limited service. We are serving a hot take away lunch on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12 noon. Charity Shop Hours, Mon-Fri 10:30am to 3pm.  


CETMA Food Redistribution Project

The main aim and focus of Surplus food is to feed and fill the nutritional gap of members of the community with foods that are still edible that would have ended up in landfill.

Trimsaran Meals on Wheels

We will be offering a main meal delivered on a Tuesday within Trimsaran village.

Starting March 29th to over 65’s. This will be offered from the leisure centre Trimsaran.

The cost of this will be £4 and for now is just a main meal only.

West Wales Action for Mental Health (WWAMH)

We provide a range of services to voluntary groups, carers and individuals who have used or are using our mental health services and living in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire. We advise on such matters as fundraising, training, local forums, planning and IT. We offer practical support to mental health organisations to develop ideas and improve your services.
