CAVS
Carmarthenshire’s Food Network was established by the Carmarthenshire Association of Voluntary Services (CAVS), in 2021, to address concerns around access to food during the Covid-19 pandemic.
This work was initially co-ordinated by Jamie Horton, Community Volunteering Development Officer, and funded through Welsh Assembly Government Transformational Change.
Our Carmarthenshire Food Network Assistant, Augusta Lewis, came on board in November 2021 funded through the Wales Poverty Alleviation Fund.
In 2023 we secured a new Carmarthenshire Food Network Officer, Alex Nichols, through UK Shared Prosperity Funding.
