Calling those involved with the food system in Carmarthenshire, and surrounding region, as well as Carmarthenshire Food Network Members.
Whether you are engaged in the food system as a community group, professional or amateur grower, farmer, distributor, professional chef using local ingredients, food surplus project or organisation offering wider community support by those experiencing food poverty; or as a stakeholder in Carmarthenshire County Council, Hywel Dda Health Board and Public Service Board, you are warmly invited to our Whole Network Meeting.
There will be:
- An introduction to the Wales Community Food Distribution Initiative and plans for community food hubs across Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion with Abi Marriott, Wales Community Food Distribution Development Officer at PLANED.
- An introduction to North Star Transition Feasibility Study into public procurement focussed on getting local, healthy food into public sector meals with Andy Middleton, TYF Adventure Founder and Director.
- An introduction to Sustainable Food Places, and an opportunity to help shape a Food Charter for Carmarthenshire with Augusta Lewis from the Network
- An opportunity to meet with others involved in the food system in Carmarthenshire and learn about projects within and around the county.
