Mental health is something that affects most of us at some point in our lives – 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health issue of some kind each year. The demand for mental health skills and resources has been steadily growing throughout the last decade, but since COVID19 that demand has increased, and is now at the forefront of the agendas of many people and organisations. Despite that, there is still a stigma around mental health.
This course aims to raise your awareness of mental health and a range of mental health problems and allows you to gain an understanding of prevalent mental health issues and how to communicate in an empathetic manner.
