Befriending Networks are hosting a FREE Networking Opportunity and Q & A specifically for Welsh projects on Wednesday, 22nd September at 12.30pm – 1.30pm
Here at Befriending Networks, we have been supporting befriending services in Scotland for 40 years and in England for approximately 10 years. We are now seeing an increase in interest from Welsh organisations and our Welsh membership currently stands at 10 including Bridgend Association of Voluntary Organisations and Powys Association of Voluntary Organisations.
If you have not heard of us, you can find out more about what we do at www.befriending.co.uk. Basically, we support the befriending sector as an umbrella organisation by offering training, support, resources, networking opportunities and by being the voice of befriending at national Government levels.
Whilst we are a membership organisation, with annual membership starting at just £75 per annum, we also offer many free resources and events including our weekly informal Q & A sessions which have been running since April 2020 and have proved a valuable opportunity for project co-ordinators to come together for support and to discuss challenges and successes.
We really hope you can join us for what we hope will be the first of regular support sessions for Welsh projects.
