All employers and hiring managers in Hywel Dda and neighbouring areas are invited to join our employability event on Thursday 23 June to hear from experts on why you should hire ex-forces and members of the armed forces community, and the value they can bring.
In line with the Armed Forces Covenant, we as an organisation, are encouraged to show a commitment to acknowledging and understanding that those who serve and those who have served in the armed forces, and their families, should be treated with fairness and respect in the communities, economy and society they serve with their lives.
Therefore, this employability event is aimed at all employers and hiring managers in Hywel Dda and neighbouring areas, to raise awareness of the value and the skills our service leavers and members of the armed forces community can offer to all public, private, and the third sector organisations.
This event is also aimed at helping organisations look at ways in which they can improve access to employment for support service leavers and members of the armed forces community.
