Comic Relief Grant Scheme

The Comic Relief Grant Scheme (Voluntary Services Emergency Fund (VSEF))

This was also known as the Carmarthenshire COVID-19 Support Fund and was supported by Carmarthenshire Association of Voluntary Services (CAVS) and Comic Relief from monies raised from the Big Night In, to support vulnerable people affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Carmarthenshire COVID-19 Recovery fund

The Carmarthenshire Covid 19 Recovery Fund was funded by the Welsh Government and Comic Relief, and managed by Carmarthenshire Association of Voluntary Services (CAVS) to ensure a fair and just recovery from COVID-19, especially by addressing inequalities that became more apparent/exacerbated through the pandemic.

Carmarthenshire COVID-19 Response fund

The Carmarthenshire COVID-19 Community Response Fund was a joint scheme supported by Carmarthenshire Association of Voluntary Services (CAVS), Carmarthenshire County Council, LEADER, Welsh Church Fund, West Wales Care Partnership and Welsh Government.  

The grant aimed to support voluntary sector organisations and community groups in Carmarthenshire to: maintain or increase activities that supported the vulnerable during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis, ensure that organisation/community groups had the resources needed to deliver vital services for their communities, and encouraged robust health and safety protocols during all activities that safeguarded voluntary sector staff, volunteers, helpers and beneficiaries.
