About the organisation | A community facility hosting various services including: Lots of Tots – A fully registered day care nursery providing up to 52 children with high quality, bilingual childcare services for over 30 years. Food Hwb – Daily food deliveries to vulnerable adults and families in danger of food poverty and isolation. Canolfan Maerdy also serves as a base for local community transport, facilitating trips to health clinics. |

Project Achievements/ Challenges/Beneficiaries /Partners/Outcomes | Funding enabled the childcare facility to remain open throughout the pandemic by replacing the carpet in the creche with a new, easy to clean and cushioned flooring. This made the creche more hygienic, reducing the risk of exposure to Covid. Over the past six months, funding has assisted over 4000 beneficiaries via the Food Hwb, with 70 individual children benefitting from childcare and 15 nursery staff jobs preserved. |
