Shwmae, my name is Philip and I’m one of the volunteers at the Carmarthen repair café.
We meet on the second Saturday of every month and our main aim is to prevent stuff from going to landfill
We’ve got a group of about 20 volunteers with varying skills; everything from electrical to electronics, sewing, furniture, wood working, sharpening.
We cover just about all bases, but we also have some very important members of the team who are the folks who do the teas, coffees and cakes for us and also the admin side.
So if your interested in volunteering at the repair café we would love to hear from you.
