We could share a meal at Christmas
Hi, there. Here we are in the community fridge in Newcastle Emlyn.
Hi.
And, we were wondering if you’d be able to tell us why you are here. What you’re doing here?
I’m here because of environmental issues I particularly despise and loath food waste in fact any form of waste at all – so this is a key resource for the community and its helping stopping it going to landfill
I also feel passionately about repairing stuff which is why I volunteer as well for the community repair café where We take things and mend them and Extend their lives because we’re a throw away society and we’ve got to stop it and we’ve got to stop it quickly.
And now I’m Borrowing from the community of things, a library of things, again this is about sharing resources.
Like we used to do back in our parents day.
We used to share things and we have to get back to it.
We don’t all need new things to keep our houses and our gardens going.
We need to share because it’s great. It’s also a massive social benefit because we all chat to each other – We learn things about each other which we didn’t know before and I think it’s fantastic.
