We could give our time to someone who needs it today
Hi, my name is Connor Horton, I am 16 years old and I volunteer with the Bethel church in Carmarthen.
I have grown up within a close knit family who believe that community is an important part of who we are. I am part of the Bethel youth group and I recently joined them for a wellbeing walk over a four day period.
Working out what I feel passionate about takes time and I do feel that it helps me to work out how best I can communicate this with others.
Helping others makes me feel useful and all I can say is that when you find out what suits you, pursue it as volunteering is amazing.
