I’m Beth Rees and I live in Carmarthenshire.
My hobbies interests are family, cooking, caravanning and watching rugby.
My passion is helping people less fortunate than myself.
Having retired from nursing I felt the need to fill a void in my life.
Angor is the Carmarthenshire charity that helps people that have been diagnosed with cancer and life changing illnesses and the ethos of Angor made me want to join them as a volunteer, making teas, coffees, listening to people’s needs and signposting where appropriate.
And God has given me a sense of worth, and I feel I get more out of it than I put in.
