What I do:

My role focuses upon reviewing and co-ordinating approaches to incentivise volunteering through developing new, flexible opportunities for local people to give their time to make a difference in their communities. Supporting community groups during the Pandemic has introduced me to an incredible wealth of willingness and positive action. I am here to support the creation of connections for all through community activities and facilitating opportunities for community involvement. You may have seen me on your community facebook page sharing information, highlighting opportunities and encouraging you to participate.

“I have grown up in a matriarchical environment where ‘helping’ where and when you can was normalised. I have been ‘volunteering’ from a very early age and it has taken me across the Globe. It is a part of my daily landscape and is an intrinsic part of who I am”.
