Carmarthenshire Food Network are working to understand the ways in which people access food across the county. This will help to build a picture of which factors in Carmarthenshire influence how easy or difficult it is to access a nutritionally balanced diet that promotes health and wellbeing.
The responses to the survey will contribute to understanding where and how the food system is working in the county, and where and how barriers need to be overcome to enable greater equity in accessing high quality nutritious food.
Carmarthenshire Food Network is made up of individuals, community organisations and businesses across the county with the shared aim of promoting fair, sustainable and healthy food for all. The Network is supported by Carmarthenshire Association of Voluntary Services, Carmarthenshire County Council, Hywel Dda Department of Nutrition and Dietetitics and Public Health Wales.
