Rwy’n mwynhau fy rôl fel gwirfoddolwr cynorthwyol yn Marie Curie. Gallu cefnogi teulu ar un o adegau mwyaf heriol eu bywydau, a rhoi ychydig oriau o seibiant iddynt gan eu hanwyliaid, a hefyd i’w hanwyliaid gael seibiant oddi wrth y teulu. Gallaf weld drosof fy hun pa wahaniaeth y mae’n ei wneud a gweld y rhyddhad a’r wên ar wyneb aelodau’r teulu a’r cleientiaid hefyd. Rwy’n teimlo ei bod yn fraint cael bod yn rhan o gefnogi’r teuluoedd hyn ar yr adeg fwyaf heriol hon o’u bywyd trwy waith Marie Curie.
I’m really enjoying my role as helper volunteer at Marie Curie. To be able to support a family at one of the most challenging times of their lives, and give them a few hours of respite from their loved ones, and also for their loved ones to have respite from the family. I can see first hand what a difference it is making and to see the relief and the smile on the family members face and also on the clients face too. I feel it’s a privilege to be involved in supporting these families at this most challenging time of their life through the work of Marie Curie.
